About Us

Hey friends! My name is Amanda, and these are my 3 beautiful beings. My husband and I are high school sweethearts, we totally met on the school bus and we laugh about how he would always try to talk to me by offering me gum! Well it eventually worked and here we are over a decade later with these two beautiful babies who are our entire world.

We started Modern Mama in November of 2020 (YES the middle of a pandemic). I was laid off due to the local shut-downs that were put into place, and so I did what any other bored person would do, I bought a Cricut machine! (Ha) From there things escalated quickly, I knew that this was going to be my new passion. Working on projects together is always something we have been passionate about and a special way for us to bond, with that being said it didn’t take much convincing to get him on board! We came up with a game plan of what our vision was and where we wanted it to go and viola, Modern Mama!

Starting this new adventure during such uncertain times was nerve-wreaking to say the least, but it was one of the best decisions we have ever made! Even the kids are having fun helping package orders, their favorite part is putting the packages out on the front porch for the “delivery man” to deliver them to our customers! (The simple things in life when you are a kid) I can honestly say from all 4 of us that we appreciate your support more than you will ever know!
